About: Christian faith

The famous author, C. S. Lewis, who wrote, among other books, ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’, also wrote many books about Christianity. He became a Christian in his thirties after a long journey wrestling with the existence of God and the implications of the life and death (and resurrection!) of His Son, Jesus.

C.S. Lewis wrote this in an essay about Christianity:

‘Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important’.

The claims of Jesus are so radical and so incredibly life changing that they simply cannot be ignored and as Lewis said, if true, they are of infinite importance - for each one of us.

We think everyone should have the opportunity to exam the claims of Jesus and, at the Ark Church; we want to invite you to find out for yourself if it is ‘true’ or ‘false’. We run Alpha courses periodically and our Sunday meetings and midweek Life Groups are open to all who would like to explore Christianity for themselves.
